40th Annual ARSC Conference (Seattle, Washington, May 17- 20, 2006)Travel InformationIf you're flying into Seattle via a commercial airline, you'll arrive and depart from Seattle-Tacoma (Sea-Tac) International Airport just south of the city. There are three easy options for transportation to and from the Red Lion.
Washington has the largest ferry fleet in the world, and the many boats traveling in and out of Seattle offer excellent opportunities for sightseeing as well as transportation. Vessels of the Washington State Ferries fleet dock in downtown Seattle and travel to Bremerton and Bainbridge Island. The view of Seattle from a returning ferry at sunset is spectacular. For those wishing to visit Victoria, British Columbia, the Victoria Clipper high speed passenger ferries arrive and depart throughout the day. It is suggested that you bring a passport to expedite your entry to and return from Canada. If you plan on traveling around the Seattle area by car, the state Department of Transportation provides handy traffic flow information on their web site.
