46th Annual ARSC Conference (Rochester, New York on May 16-19, 2012)
The 2012 ARSC conference will be held at the Rochester Riverside Radisson, located on the banks of the Genessee River and in the heart of downtown Rochester, a short walk from the Eastman School of Music. The hotel is also convenient to several popular attractions in the local area, including the Strong Museum, the Blue Cross Arena, Red Wings baseball and the Susan B. Anthony house.
The Rochester Riverside Radisson offers numerous amenities, including a seasonal heated outdoor pool (generally not open until Memorial Day), fitness center and sauna, 24 hr. complimentary business center, laundry service, ATM, and gift shop. Complimentary shuttle service is provided to/from the Rochester International Airport, Amtrak train station, and RTS bus station. ARSC conference attendees who elect to stay at the hotel will also receive complimentary high speed wireless internet access in guestrooms, meeting rooms, and public spaces in addition to complimentary overnight parking (the $7 daily fee will be waived upon check-in). The Legends Sports Bar & Grille at the Radisson is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner; a soup, salad and pasta bar is available Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Every hotel room is equipped with a coffeemaker, hairdryer, and iron/ironing board. Rollaway beds are $10 per night (subject to availability) and may only be used in King rooms. Other options that may be requested include handicap accessible, poolside, and river view rooms. The hotel is also pet friendly (a one-time non-refundable $25.00 fee applies). For an extra $15 fee, conference attendees may upgrade to business class Club Level rooms which include refrigerators and microwaves.
Our contracted dates at the Rochester Riverside Radisson are Tuesday May 15 – Saturday May 19, 2012. Group rates will be honored 3 days before/after these dates pending availability.
