47th Annual ARSC Conference (Kansas City, Missouri on May 15-18, 2013)
Hotel Information
The 2013 ARSC conference will be held at the Kansas City Marriott Country Club Plaza, located just steps from the famed Country Club Plaza, the city's most prestigious shopping and dining area. The hotel is located four miles from the center of downtown, and is within walking distance of the University of Missouri, Kansas City, and the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art.
The newly renovated Marriott Country Club Plaza offers numerous amenities, including an indoor swimming pool and spa, fitness center and nearby jogging trail, and a full service business center. The hotel also offers a complimentary shuttle to and from the Country Club Plaza area. On-site parking options include valet parking ($19 per 24 hrs.) and self-parking ($15 per 24 hrs. or $7 for 8 hrs. or less). ARSC conference attendees who elect to stay at the hotel will receive 50% off the self-parking rates, as well as complimentary high speed wireless internet access in guestrooms.
The Marriott is a smoke-free hotel. Every guest room is equipped with a coffeemaker, hairdryer, and iron/ironing board. The Café Express at the Marriott is open for breakfast, the Main Street Grill is open for breakfast and lunch, and the M.I. Greatroom in the Lobby is open for dinner.

$129 Standard Room, single or double occupancy (plus 15.350% occupancy tax and $1.50 per night city tax). Guests may choose one King, one Queen, or two Double beds; free WIFI is included. Children 18 and under stay free in the same room with an adult

Adjust dates accordingly (the entire conference block will automatically appear) and then you'll be directed to a screen where you can select room and accessibility preferences. - Reservations must be cancelled by 3 p.m. on the day BEFORE your scheduled arrival date to arrival to avoid loss of first night's room and tax charges.
- Check-in time is 3:00pm CDT and check-out is 12:00pm CDT
- The deadline to make reservations at the Marriott Country Club Plaza is Tuesday, April 23, 2013. Reservations made after this date will be reserved only on a space available basis at the prevailing rate.
