Plaza Live!

Check out music from the best local and regional acts during the Plaza Live! Court Yard Concert Series, with concerts all summer long, May 2, 2013-September 29, 2013. Concerts are held in Mermaid Courtyard (M) by Michael Kors, Penguin Courtyard (P) across from Brio, Neptune Courtyard (N) by Houston's, and Valencia Courtyard (V) by Banana Republic every Thursday from 5 - 8pm, Friday from 6 - 9pm, Saturday from 2 - 5pm and Sunday from noon - 3pm.

Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts Tours

Public Tours for individuals and small groups of 10 or less people are $5 per person. Reservations are required. To reserve your spot call the Box Office at 816-994-7222 Ext. 3 or click here to book your tour online.

Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts

There is a performance on Fri. May 17, 8:00; Sat. May 18, 8:00; and Sun. May 19, 2:00 of "Mahler, Mozart & Brahms" with Asher Fisch (Mahler "Blumine" Movement from Symphony No. 1; W.A. Mozart Piano Concerto No. 17; Brahms/Schoenberg Piano Quartet). There are still some tickets available Friday evening (as of the end of January), and many are available for the Sunday matinee. Bud, Not Buddy, April 9 – May 24, 2013
It's the Great Depression, and times could be hard for Bud after the loss of his mother. But nothing can stop Bud (not 'Buddy') from finding the man he believes to be his father—jazz composer and musician Herman E. Calloway -- in this comic "Oliver Twist" story through the Midwest. Based on the Newbery Medal and Coretta Scott King award-winning book.

Rocky Horror Picture Show with Fishnets and Floorshows at the Screenland, May 18, 10:00 p.m. Screenland has a preshow, allow (and encourage!) dressing up and participation, and are putting together a shadow cast for a floorshow.
